Teaching

“I’m not asking you to be the best,” my teacher had said to me. “I ask of you to be unique – then your resources will be available to you in all their fullness.”

H. Grimaud, “Leçons particulières”

I have been teaching at the Stella Vorarlberg Private University of Music since autumn 2021. It is very important to me personally to pass on what I have learned. Due to my versatility as a musician, I can show a wide variety of possibilities in our profession. For me, in addition to the goal of becoming an orchestra musician or teacher, these are to prepare for competitions and auditions, to develop playing on historical instruments, contemporary music, music education and new concert concepts.

My goal is to support the students in the best possible way on their unique and individual path. I regularly invite my advanced students to projects to enable them to learn in practice.

Two courses are offered at Stella Vorarlberg: Music Education and Music Performance, each as a bachelor’s and master’s degree. In addition, there is the possibility of getting a place at the Pre-College in connection with the music high school in Feldkirch.
